Peter has a supply of all the materials required to share with anyone who needs anything. Please ask if you would like to see or have anything.
We could spend the evening after the AGM on 02 January learning to tie this fly and sort out any problems.
Game Bird Feathers
Peter can obtain Game Bird Feathers if anyone needs any. Readily available are:
Cock & Hen Pheasant – Tails, Wings, Church Windows, etc
English & French Partridge – Grey & Brown Breast & French Flank feathers.
Mallard, Teal, Widgeon, & a few Wood-duck type hybrids, Drakes – Blue Wing feathers, Wing quills, breast & flank feathers
Geese – wing quills – for herl
Let Peter know if you would like any (or others) and he will keep a look out for them at the shoot and freeze them to destroy any extras.
