No snowflakes on our boat

Peter H and Richard E left home for Farmoor in heavy snow. Arriving at the fishery the sun came out and thawed the layer of snow in the bottom of the boat. Then it was out onto the water. The one boat already out was into fish. You could tell Captain Hurst was not with us, as there is no way being second boat out would have been tolerated!! Our first cast yielded a fish and from then on it was full on fishing. We caught on a mixture of lures and buzzers with most being caught on lures - green and black was the killer colour combination.

We finished the day with 87 to the boat by far our best day ever. We will look back on this fondly, when in July we cannot buy a take.
