Grayling Trip 10th November 2016
Under cloudy skies with unseasonably warm temperature we met for our trip to the Ladies of the stream. The river was quite low in spite of recent rain. Everyone started with weighted nymphs and whilst sport was slow by lunchtime everyone had fish on the bank. It was a case of keeping moving and searching for pods of fish. The fish were somewhat smaller than previous visits. After lunch the rain started but we were still catching fish. We ended the day with about 80 on the bank all to small nymphs. As you can see from the pictures the swans were really attacking the automatic feeder.
